As promised, here is a video of Grace’s Alka-Seltzer “rocket” using a film canister. These are quick and fun (and cheap) to do…with lots of potential for science discussion and exploration. I’ll be posting weekly pictures and our plan for the upcoming week later today, so be sure to check back.
Grace and I went out in search of plant characteristic examples this week. A couple of trips out in the woods, and we had all of the pictures needed to make our video. This is our first time making a video of this sort (with narration lining up with pictures and whatnot), so be kind and forgiving while watching, please. Enjoy the video!
Grace created a model “arm” earlier this week, and I so enjoyed watching her make it go that we decided to make a short video (she makes the arms go and explains a bit about muscles). Then Grace had the brilliant idea to include a video on the blog every week. (She is a smart one!) And so, here it begins…our weekly videos.
Please forgive our lack of high quality and professionalism….we were more interested in goofing off than creating a work of cinematic art.
Without further ado…..our first weekly video:
I hope you enjoyed our 26 seconds of silliness. That was actually the third take, so we had the giggles by that point.
